Iconic Sydney waterside restaurant now looking for a Head Chef! Operating 5-6 days a week (depending on season) this established and recently refurnished restaurant is changing the way people can dine and view Sydney.  Open for Lunch and Dinner the menu offers Modern Australian dishes with a Mediterranean flair – perfect for waterside dining.

Work in conjunction with the Group Executive Chef and lead this dynamic team as their new Head Chef, to new heights.

Our idea applicant is:

  • Trade qualified and has plenty of experience managing a kitchen and leading a team in a busy restaurant environment
  • Experienced in working with fresh produce making the most of what is in season. In conjunction with the Group Executive Chef you can create, cost and produce fabulous menus
  • Organised and communicates well with internal and external customers. You understand the Sydney restaurant market and know how to create commercially successful dishes
  • Proactive and likes to develop people and enjoys teaching others. You are a kitchen professional and you understand how important the customer and your team are
  • Understanding how to maximise revenue and minimise expenses. You are great at ordering and managing stock including ensuring quality and costs are maintained.
  • Focused on maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Food safety is everything to you and it shows in what you serve and in the areas you work
  • Professional, you have a cool head, you can move from section to section easily to ensure that everything is flowing well.
